A tool-assisted speedrun, often abbreviated to TAS, is where a player uses an emulator and its various "rerecording" tools to complete a game at record times. There are many TASes on YouTube, of various commercial games and ROM hacks. TASes are most commonly done for SMW Kaizo hacks. There have also been several website about TASing that were created. Many users all around the world contribute TASes to the Internet, of all sorts of games. Kaizo Hack TASes

As mentioned earlier, Kaizo hacks are very commonly TASed. In a TAS of a Kaizo hack, the TASer tries to use as many game-breaking tricks and bugs that they can to complete the level as fast as possible.
