Privacy is an extremely important concern for any website and this includes SnesLab. Our policy is simple and straightforward:
- We do not sell or give away your data.
- As a guest, the only information collected is your IP address.
- As a registered user, your username and e-mail address are collected as per requirement of the MediaWiki software.
- We do not use any analytics algorithm and software, therefore no processing or metrics are generated from your personal data, nor is stored with the exception of points 2 and 3.
- In case any sensible information ends up stored there, you have the right to ask us for removing it.
Third-party software:
- Google's reCAPTCHA v2 for prevention against automated spam. When a user or guest is prompted to use said CAPTCHA, it'll contain a link to Google's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you disagree with these, or if you are having issues with the CAPTCHA in general, please contact an administrator.
