The MultiPlayer 5 is a device that allows up to 5 players, plugged into the second controller port.

According to the schematic diagram on page 4-9-10 of the official Nintendo documentation, the MultiPlayer 5 contains four HCT126's, eight HCT241's, and one HC4053.
