Range is a DSP1 command that performs 3D collision detection. It determines if an object is within a certain distance of a point.

Input Parameters

  • x is a vector component
  • y is a vector component
  • z is a vector component
  • r is the range to compare the vector to (a sphere radius)

Ouput Parameters

  • D is the difference between the vector length and the range
