List of Anomie's Docs

There are nine documents by anomie available on RHDN:

• SNES Memory Mapping
• Register
• SNES Timing
• SPC700 with boot rom disassembly
• SPC700 Cycles
• S-DSP
• SNES OpenBus and Wrapping
• SNES Port
• C4 chip

Errata

• In regs.txt under "BG Modes" we have "The SNES has 7 background modes," it should say 8.
• In the S-DSP doc, we have "Certain games do seem to depend on these exact formulas, trying to simplify will break some sound effects." But "approximate" would probably be clearer than "simplify," as in mathematics simplifying a formula only reduces the number of symbols used to express it, which may be easier to read but otherwise leaves it equivalent.
• In ob-wrap.txt, the first result is that Program Counter Increment "Always wraps within the bank, at any point in the opcode." But as opcodes are merely the first byte of an instruction, this result would probably be clearer if the last word were "instruction."
