The uninverted MUTE line starts at the collector of Q13, then is split into two because of the two stereo channels. It is connected to the bases of Q14 and Q15 of the Post-Amplifier or Analog Mixer. It appears to only affect APU audio, not expansion and cart audio.

Pin 39 of S-DSP is /MUTE.
