VS is a 9 volt supply as described on the jwdonal schematic. It is connected to (at least):
- Q18, a BJT who's emitter appears to generate it
- Q16's collector
- Q17's collector
- R49, which itself is connected to the MUTE line
- R50, which itself is connected to the Post-Amplifier
- C80
- The Pre-Amplifier D op-amp
- The SHVC-SOUND Connector
